10:00 am "Research Insights into ITA Pronunciation Issues."
  Linda Lane, author of Focus on Pronunciation series from Pearson Eaducation. Linda is currently working on a book for ESL instructors on how to teach pronunciation.
11:00 am "A Comparison of SPEAK and ibTOEFL Results at Columbia"
  Maria McCormack. Maria is in charge of testing at the American Language Program; she has developed a new placement test for students entering the ALP Intensive program.
12:00 noon Lunch
1:00 pm Testing Concerns: ibTOEFL, new Pearson test, etc.
  Catherine Ross, University of Connecticut
  Catherine will be leading a discussion on testing issues. Please bring any data that you have on any of the tests in question or other tests.
2:30 pm Other Issues in ITA Training
