General Information and Guidelines for ITA Course Selection

Class Schedule

• Oral Communication I: Monday and Wednesday, 4:00-6:00 p.m. in CUE 318
• Oral Communication I: Tuesday and Thursday, 4:00-6:00 p.m. in CUE 318
• ITA Class: Monday and Wednesday, 6:30-8:00 p.m. in CUE 318

Important

• You must take a PhonePass Test BEFORE registering for classes
• If you start out with a failing score on the SET-10, it will probably take you at least two semesters of English classes to pass.
• All ITAs are eligible for one English course at no cost, and a second course at a subsidized rate of $120.00.
• You may take the two courses simultaneously, but must pay the $120.00 fee for the second course.

• Oral Communication PhonePass Overall score < 54
• Accent Modification PhonePass Overall score 55 minimum (by recommendation only)
• ITA Class PhonePass Overall score > 55 minimum
